1. About These Terms

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") set out the agreement between Sinar Code ("we", "our", "us") and you ("you", "the learner") when you access our website or enrol in one of our courses. Sinar Code is based at Jalan SS2/64, 47300 Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia.

Please read these Terms carefully before enrolling. By submitting an enrolment enquiry, completing payment, or using any of our course materials, you agree to be bound by them. If any part of these Terms is unclear, you are welcome to contact us before proceeding.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, and any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the Malaysian courts.

2. Our Courses

Sinar Code currently offers the following online courses:

• AI Foundations Course — 6 weeks, RM 990
• Machine Learning Track — 11 weeks, RM 1,430
• Deep Learning Mosaic — 13 weeks, RM 1,850

Course descriptions, syllabi, and schedules are provided for guidance and may be updated from time to time. We will notify enrolled learners of any material changes to a course in which they are currently enrolled.

All courses are conducted online. Access to session links, recordings, and course materials is provided to enrolled learners through our designated platforms. Learners are responsible for having a suitable device, internet connection, and the software specified in the course overview.

3. Enrolment and Payment

Enrolment is confirmed once we have received your completed enquiry and full payment of the course fee. Places in each cohort are limited; submission of an enquiry does not constitute a confirmed place.

All fees are quoted in Malaysian Ringgit (RM) and are inclusive of any applicable taxes unless otherwise stated. Payment terms will be communicated to you at the time of enrolment. We reserve the right to adjust fees for future cohorts; the fee stated at the time of your enrolment confirmation applies to you.

4. Cancellation and Refund Policy

We understand that circumstances can change. The following policy applies:

• Cancellation more than 14 days before course start: Full refund, less any processing fees incurred.
• Cancellation 7–14 days before course start: 50% refund of the course fee.
• Cancellation fewer than 7 days before course start, or after the course has begun: No refund is available. You may, at our discretion, transfer your place to a future cohort of the same course (subject to availability).

If we cancel or significantly reschedule a cohort before it begins, enrolled learners will receive a full refund or the option to transfer to a future cohort. We are not responsible for indirect costs (such as travel or accommodation) incurred in connection with the course.

Refund requests should be submitted in writing to [email protected]. We will process eligible refunds within 14 working days of confirmation.

5. Learner Responsibilities

To make the most of your learning experience and to support a respectful environment for all, enrolled learners are asked to:

• Engage with course materials honestly and in accordance with any assessment guidelines provided
• Treat other learners, instructors, and staff with courtesy in all interactions
• Keep login credentials, session links, and recorded materials confidential and not share them with others
• Not record or redistribute live sessions without prior written permission
• Notify us promptly if you encounter technical difficulties that affect your participation

We reserve the right to remove a learner from a cohort, without refund, if their conduct is found to be disruptive, dishonest, or harmful to other participants. We will endeavour to address issues informally before taking any formal steps.

6. Intellectual Property

All course materials — including written content, slides, exercises, recordings, and code examples — are the intellectual property of Sinar Code or our instructors and are protected under applicable Malaysian copyright law.

Enrolled learners are granted a personal, non-transferable licence to access and use course materials for their own learning purposes during and after the course period, as described at enrolment. This licence does not permit reproduction, redistribution, resale, or commercial use of any course materials.

Work you produce independently as part of course projects remains your own. We may, with your permission, feature learner projects as examples in our course materials or on our website.

7. Website Use

You may use our website for its intended purpose of learning about Sinar Code and its courses. You agree not to:

• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of our website or systems
• Use our website in a way that disrupts its operation or that of other users
• Submit false or misleading information through our forms
• Use automated tools to scrape, copy, or index our content without prior written consent

8. Limitation of Liability

Sinar Code makes its courses available with care and skill. However, to the extent permitted by Malaysian law:

• We do not warrant that course content will meet every learner's specific needs or expectations
• We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or economic loss arising from your use of or inability to access our courses or website
• Our total liability in connection with any course is limited to the fee paid for that course

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, personal injury caused by negligence, or any other matter that cannot be excluded by law.

9. Privacy

How we collect and use personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy. By enrolling or using our website, you acknowledge that your data will be handled in accordance with that policy.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in effect at the time of your enrolment confirmation applies to your course. For future enrolments, the Terms current at that time will apply. We will notify enrolled learners of any material changes that affect their ongoing course.
